A DNF-adjacent read - pushed through, but wouldn't rush to recommend it.

Went in with low expectations and came out completely won over. Harper Lee nailed it.

Everyone should reread this one after age 25. A different book than the one assigned in school.

Not horror at all but somehow one of the most quietly devastating books I've read. Scout's voice is perfect start to finish.
